Q: How quickly can Opening Moments turn around a presentation for rental?
A: We require 10 days for the entire process of ordering, customization, and delivery of the presentation on BetaSP.

Q: Can I purchase individual images from the presentations?
A: No. Opening Moments Media is not an image provider. Our programs are completely licensed with soundtrack and imagery -- they make sense because they're very affordable, immediately available and customizable with imagery relating to any audience.

Q: How much customization is possible and how does this take place?
A: Virtually all our presentations may be customized to reflect your company message. Customization can include products, theme graphics, company logo, 2D or 3D animation (we can create this for you) and lifestyle imagery, or any other imagery -- still or motion. The material for customization may be provided to Opening Moments on BetaSP, or in print collateral (we will scan it), or any digital medium, PC or MAC. We will make the changes to the content, and provide you with a completed presentation on BetaSP.

Q: How much does customization cost?
A: Customization rates depend on the individual presentation, specifically how it's digitally stored. When you request customization, we will re-digitize multiple layers of video data, make the changes on the level you request, and make a BetaSP and backup of the finished presentation. Customization rates are based on a per hour rate (2 hour minimum at $250/hr). Most video clip presentations require customization to include the company name, meeting theme graphic and some service or product images.

Q: Can we substitute a different soundtrack?
A: No. Most of the custom soundtracks have been created and timed with the imagery. Changing the soundtrack on these programs would change a "pre-produced" into a custom presentation.

Q: We operate our own edit suite: can we rent a program and make the changes ourselves?
A: No. Opening Moments Media, as you might guess, maintains control over the EDL (Edit Decision List-where all the original images are digitally stored). We'll make all changes in our edit suite, providing a finished product for your conference. We will provide a customization spreadsheet with a listing of all original images and room to make note of all substitution imagery.

Q: Who supplies the customized imagery?
A: Clients provide product and lifestyle shots, and may provide the theme graphics. On a per-project bid, Opening Moments may also design theme graphics and high-end 3D animation, and make arrangements for shooting custom imagery for substitution into the programs.

Q: Do these programs originate on film?
A: No. Most of our programs originate on BetaSP or DVPro.

Q: What's the difference between film and video?
A: Film and video utilize different equipment. Each media has unique recording equipment, lens', speed, look and feel. Work done in film has a painterly, smooth appearance and feel. Work shot on video is crisp and contrasty. Film is actually 24 frames per second with a variety of film width, ranging from common 35mm to very large 65 mm (the actual width of the film tape). And film requires developing. Video is 29.97 frames per second, usually 1/2" to 1" in width, and once it's shot, can be immediately viewed on a player--no developing required!

Q: What are the available formats?
A: We offer the video clip presentations on professional BetaSP – the same quality as used by network television. We can also provide international formats like PAL and SECAM, and can transfer presentations to SVHS or DVD.

Q: What's the minimum size of audience for rental of these presentations?
A: These presentations are best suited for audiences of 100 or more (often several thousand in the audience), providing the most impact and best ROI (return on investment). BetaSP is professional video and audio, designed for large screen projection and powerful amplification in large conference centers.

Q: What's the first step in renting these?
A: Call or email us and we'll make arrangement for customization, determine delivery dates, write an agreement, and make arrangements for a 50% deposit. Balance is due net 14 of the presentation date.

Q: Can these presentations be used more than once?
A: If your organization requires multiple use of the presentation (i.e. regional conferences) we offer a one-year buyout on most modules. These presentations may NOT be used in an archive or program record without written permission from Opening Moments Media.
