Stride gum found his video, and asked Matt to take a 6 month trip through 39 countries on all 7 continents. In that time, he danced a great deal. Then, a few years later, as Matt's inbox was filled with emails from around the world, Matt had the idea to include other people from these various countries who danced a lot better than he did. He took the idea to Stride gum, and they liked it. He eventually traveled to 55 countries. The video is a result of that second trip.
How effective has this been for Stride gum? As of this writing, Matt's video has been watched by more than 34 million people on YouTube. His channel is ranked #83. It has spawned a book.
