Then he enters into an area with wheelchairs, and continues running backwards in time through the re-enactment of his own auto accident, emergency vehicles, ambulance, operating room, rehab and strengthening, and finally emerging with a prosthetic device for his leg, running like the wind, hearing the approval of the crowd as he trains for the Paralympics!
This is an inspiration to both able-bodied and disabled people -- to keep going in the midst of adversity. The analogy is similar to top achievers in a sales force. Most sales people experience setbacks, maybe not quite as tragic as a car accident that requires hours of surgery, assistance from Doctors and rehab specialists. However, every top achieving sales person knows that for any setback, tenacity is required. And to make it through, we often rely on a great deal of counsel, wisdom and assistance from colleagues!
During my college years and beyond, for ten summers, I sold books door-to-door and trained a sales organization. I would say to those in the sales force that this job "pays through the no's". This inspirational spot illustrates exactly that!
