Motivational Videos - Docomo Japanese Cell Phone

Written by David Haneke | Jun 12, 2012 4:30:00 PM

In the words of one of my commercial writers, Bill Warriner, "This is one of the most elaborate, beautiful, intellectually astounding commercials I've ever seen -- and 3 minutes long!" The sponsor is Docomo, the Japanese cell phone/smartphone manufacturer and the virtual Verizon wireless network in Japan."

Advertising.net reports that this commercial was created by Japanese agency Drill Inc. who built a giant wooden xylophone (reportedly over 1 mile long) in the middle of the forest, which made up individual notes of Bach's Cantata No. 147, aka "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desire."

If you're wondering how they made the commercial, see behind the scenes here
