The Hardest Job in the World is the Best Job - Best Motivational Videos

This tribute is one of the best motivational videos that I've seen! At only 2 minutes long, this is one of the most honoring motivational videos to capture the lives of four young people through their coming of age under the tutelage of the person with the hardest job in the world!

This motivational video captures many scenarios of bringing up a child: the concern and the endless support that a Mom provides for her children, the love she has in seeing slip-ups and successes, the tenacity and vision that she has as her young person develops skills and confidence, and finally the pride in seeing her child win an international competition.

This motivational video opens at the dawn of the day with a Mom waking up her young child, with an offer to fix breakfast. One by one, we see four Mom's waking their children in different cities around the globe, as lights come on in kitchens, even before the sun rises! Breakfast is served in four different locations: Asia, Africa, America and South America. Then we see a mom getting her child on a bus for school, then other Mom's using different modes of transportation including a mini-van, metro and bike.  After school, we see each Mom watching as her son or daughter works on their sport: swimming, gymnastics, volleyball, and track, each child beginning to show promise in their sport of choice. Then Mom cleans at home, making the home a place where the neighborhood children love to return!  We experience the joys and the disappointments of various athletic practices with each of the Mom's observing and supporting their child. The young children are gradually growning older, from elementary school to teenagers.  Then finally, in each of these four young people, we see them clinch victory in their sport, and during the celebration, passionate tears of joy from the Mom as she celebrates years of victory that has been won one day at a time!

I can't help but think of the parallels to the sales effort. Often the leader (or mentor) sees great potential in a sales person; the leader has vision for the outcome of this person's performance, which may take weeks, months or years to kindle. And it's not only the leader or mentor who sees potential in the future.  The sales person has a vision that keeps him or her going during tough times, through upsets and victories. And those victories are won one day at a time!

This motivational video could easily be customized for any organization where leadership, women or men, plays an integral part in the development of their employees. It's inspiring to have the kind of tenacity that these women display!
