Pals - Motivational Videos

Written by David Haneke | Dec 31, 2014 2:30:00 PM

This motivational video focuses on two pals who spend the day together really having fun, doing things that friends, or even a father/son would do. It's got a twist of an ending, revealing the relationship between a father and son!

This spot for Robinsons Drinks opens with two boys walking across the field after playing soccer together. On their way back home, they encounter all kinds of interesting circumstances: losing the ball in an area that is inaccessible (notice the shadow in this shot, giving a preview of the ending), riding on a spinning carousel, Darth Vader and Anakin imaginary laser fighting, and walking by a school peer named Judy, who is talking with her friends.

They both get home, and one of the boys pours two glasses of orange juice, then they watch movies, where one of the boys falls asleep, and the other pal carries him upstairs to his bed to get some rest. The boy who was laid on his bed says, "Goodnight, Dad!" and instead of seeing another boy responding, we see the boy's father at the doorway saying, "Goodnight, pal!".

This is such an enjoyable experience to watch, and makes me want to be this kind of father for my yet-to-be-born-son in the same way! Emotional short stories like this make connections to Robinson's drinks, and yet this type of scenario can be told for almost any sales organization. For example, I could imagine a wonderful camaraderie between a sales person and her client -- reenacted with a twist of friendship, or the alignment of bringing a team together under one vision could be illustrated with a short story like this one.

That's exactly what our creative team does; we learn about your business, the challenges, misperceptions, and desired outcomes, then write, direct, and shoot video stories to illustrate the message, whether that's a warm perception of the sales relationship, or a better understanding of alignment...video story telling is effective!  To get started, contact me direct.
