Satu plays futbol and shares a selfless gift with his friendsSelfless giving is not always the norm, but in this motivational video featuring students who hang out together, it' happens not once, but twice!

This short inspirational video for the Benfica Foundation opens with an interview with a boy, Satu, who is asked what he likes to do. He responds that he likes to play football (in America, soccer), go to school, study, swim, do the dishes. All the while, we see slow motion images of his buddies playing soccer in the sand. Satu is asked why he likes football so much. His response, "Because I like to play with my friends.". Then he's asked, "Why do you play with one barefoot?" We see a team shot with all his friends, and they all have one barefoot!

The we flash back in time and we're in the backseat of an SUV, with three guys from the Benfic Foundation. While driving on a bumpy road, during the approach, one says, "That's the village". They get out of the car, call out to the boys, and they come running from the sandy play field to the car. Nuno Gomes, a former Benfica player, gets out of the car and calls to the boys. He asks, "Who's a Benfica fan?", referencing a soccer club in Portugal. The boys raise their hands. Then Nuno says, "I've got a surprise for you, OK?" He proceeds to hand out wrapped boxes to the boys by name, Satu, Eliseu, Giovanni, Gilson...about 15 of them. They proceed to open their gifts to reveal a new set of fitted tennis shoes. The boys put them on their feet, some with the assistance of Nuno. They run out to the playing field. Nuno says goodbye and starts to drive off.

Then something happened.  As Nuno and his friends are in the car, beginning to drive off, they are interrupted by a bunch of boys running across the road to the field where the boys with the new shoes are. Nuno and his friends wait. "What's wrong?" one says. Then we see the boys that received the new shoes do something extraordinary. As their friend show up on the soccer field, the boys that received the new shoes take one shoe off, and give it to their friend. So, one foot is barefoot, the other has a shoe. We go back to the interview with Satu, "Why do you play with one barefoot?" His response is exceptional, "We don't play with one barefoot; we play with one shoe on."

This attitude of giving, and the attitude of the boys taking what they've been given and giving to others is quite amazing. It's something that we want to emulate in life. It's something that Jesus did when he taught men to go and do likewise. It's certainly something that we can teach in sales, when we provide a service to someone, they can, in turn, give that service to others in some way. Very cool.

Those results include helping tell the vision of an organization, engaging in a sales effort, helping customers better understand the big picture of an organization, or helping clients see the value of services. One of my favorite compliments is from a client that said, "This is the best tool we've had in over 22 years to tell our story!" Specialties: Making an idea or concept come to life through video media: motivational videos, custom video production, and event production.
