Beside the fact that I'm an avid photographer and videographer (and this short inspirational video has unbelieveable videography exclusively using the Nikon D4), this is a wonderful short motivational video featuring three talented athletes who have a passion for their sport, and who know 'Why' they do it!
This short motivational video promotes Nikon's D4, and makes everything look easy, but you know isn't! It's the 'why' that keeps these athletes in the game, approaching danger, enduring pain and seeking the journey! Each story is interweaved with the others as they go after it!
Young kayaker Dane Jackson speaks up, "In my world, the only constant is that there's no constant. Whenever I come up to a big waterfall, everything else goes blank and I'm just focusing on what I need to do. Without the fear it wouldn't be the same. Overcoming the fear is what reallly makes kayaking amazing!"
Mountain biker Rebecca Rusch states, "I'm a racer and I love to win. I'm inspired by the places that I go." Rusch continues, "The definition of 'the zone' is when you don't feel the burn in your legs, you don't hear your heart rate; you're basically on auto-pilot and everything seems easy."
Solo rock climber Alex Honnold adds, "Soloing is just rocking climbing without a rope, without protection". He continues, "When all the movements just feel so crisp, and precise and perfect, you don't feel pain in your fingers so much. You can tork on them super hard...you just feel stronger...".
