This is a funny, audacious motivational video for Audi that captures the span of emotions from the depths of despair to the heights of bravery!
The spot opens with a high school boy who is dressed in his tuxedo. As his Mom pins a boutonniere on him, she reassures him that many others will be going alone to the prom (although little sister has her doubts). Dad steps into the scene, tossing the keys of his brand new Audi to his son, encouraging him to have a good time.
On the way to the prom, the boy pulls up to a crossing alongside a stretch limo heading for the prom, and a girl dressed for the prom, with her head popping out the window, seems to laugh at the boy who is all alone in his car. The boy becomes all the more determined to prove himself, and punches the accelerator. He arrives at the school, taking the parking space reserved for the Principal.
As he makes his way through the hallway into the gym, now the prom dance hall, he spots the girl that he loves dressed in red (who happens to be the homecoming queen). He makes his way through the crowd to her, and bravely kisses her. There's a shocked hush, followed by a few cheers for his display of moxy, as everything stands still for just a moment. The homecoming king sees this from across the room, and with anger starts walking towards this boy, and we see an expression of astonishment on the boys face, but we don't see what happens next.
The camera cuts to a close up of the boy, again driving the car, this time with one black eye, but he's got his girl in the seat next to him. He smiles in amazement and hollers with excitement as he punches the accelerator, once again pressing ahead; bravery at its best!
Emotions are an awesome motivator! When everything seems to be going the wrong way, a quick turn of events (in this case the keys to an exciting car and the date of his dreams) can turn on a dime - creating bravery, and the conquest ensues!
