This is hysterical!  Inspiration often begins with simple, quirky ideas! Matt Harding was a video gamer, and he knew how to dance, but not very well. A traveling buddy gave him an idea to record himself dancing in Hanoi. Then Matt posted his dance, and one person told another, and the word got around. 

Stride gum found his video, and asked Matt to take a 6 month trip through 39 countries on all 7 continents. In that time, he danced a great deal. Then, a few years later, as Matt's inbox was filled with emails from around the world, Matt had the idea to include other people from these various countries who danced a lot better than he did. He took the idea to Stride gum, and they liked it. He eventually traveled to 55 countries. The video is a result of that second trip.

How effective has this been for Stride gum? As of this writing, Matt's video has been watched by more than 34 million people on YouTube. His channel is ranked #83. It has spawned a book.  I'm certain that Stride gum has recieved a great deal of mileage from this campaign. You can read Matt's story here.
