I have many disabled friends who depend on their wheelchairs to get around, along with family members who use walkers and canes. The disabled ramp is such a helpful resource for them, and when drivers obstruct it, navigating a curb can be difficult. I have so much respect for this ramp campaign, because they took something that is relatively invisible and called attention to it in a very positive way, using disabled athlete Juan Maria Nemo.
Then they created a sticker for the door with a QR Code for the smart phone, so that the driver who didn't see the disabled ramp could view the wheelchair stunt with their own car in the middle of the scene...how creative! This campaign built 120 ramps, and thousands viewed it on social sites, millions on other media. Ultimate results: "21% more students in their classrooms." Good for the Driver's School! This is a great campaign!
